The HR Alumni, an exclusive online network for HR directors, was launched in July 2008 and has rapidly grown over the last year to a membership of over 400 HR directors from across the globe. The HR Alumni was created so that HR directors could not only connect with fellow HR directors in their industry sector, but also to provide them with bespoke knowledge based on their interests and key focus areas. WTG individually approves each application to ensure that the HR Alumni remains a peer based community. We do not accept suppliers, students or anyone who does not meet the strict membership criteria that we have. All members of the Alumni are senior industry professionals who joined the HR Alumni to share knowledge and build relationships with like minded experts. Membership is free and even the premium content is accessible to all members. The HR Alumni recently attended the HR Directors Business Summit where they have gained exclusive video of interviews with key speakers such as Dr. Edward de Bono, who has recently become the EU Ambassador of Thinking. The HR Alumni also has an exclusive of General Sir David Richards, KCB CBE DSO ADC Gen Commander in Chief, Land Forces British Army being interviewed by David Fairhurst, Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer, McDonald's. Feedback from members, which has collected by the HR Alumni team, has been extremely positive and the Alumni has grown and adapted in response to the members' comments. Members have talked about the following and the benefits they have found from their membership: - Saves time: Members don't waste time searching business network sites for contacts that are not relevant to them. The Alumni suggests contacts based on the member's interest and key focus areas.
- Extensive searches: Members use the search facility to find members using criteria such as company name, industry sector, investment areas, turnover, areas of responsibility and many other criteria.
- Personal profile: Members' profiles acts as a virtual business card and will helps members find and be found by colleagues, friends and potential business contacts.
- Tailored content: The Knowledge Centre contains a wealth of independent and industry specific content. We have sourced the world's leading authors and experts to write editorials, give interviews and provide detailed case studies and research reports.
- Strategic collaboration and information sharing: Through the Alumni, members share views and opinions in professional forums and use the collective experience of the community in the Q&A section.
